Culinary & CITY TOUR LIMA
Today you will discover the secrets of Peruvian cuisine. Our culinary adventure begins in a typical “Peruvian market”. Where you will find a wide range of Peruvian products and enjoy unique fruits such as “chirimoya”, “lucuma”, “aguaymanto” and “pacae”. We will visit the exclusive restaurant, where an expert bartender will teach you how to prepare the famous “Pisco Sour”. The chef of the restaurant will prepare with you the delicious “Ceviche” a typical Peruvian dish. Then you will have a delicious lunch with the most representative dishes of Peruvian cuisine.
In the afternoon we will explore Lima and its majestic past. This excursion offers the best combination of various attractions in Lima and its three historical periods: the pre-latino, colonial and contemporary periods. Lima has known several pre-Columbian cultures dating back thousands of years, but Lima was also part of the Inca Empire. However, Lima was only founded in the year 1535 by the Spaniard Francisco Pizarro. During our tour, we will travel along Lima’s millennial history. Overnight Lima.

Embark on a morning journey to explore the ‘Huaca del Sol y la Luna’ and its captivating history. Discover the legendary Huaca del Sol, constructed in just three days with an astonishing 70 million adobe bricks. Nearby, the ‘Huaca de la Luna’ showcases ancient paintings of the revered Ai Apaec God.
Continuing our journey, delve into the mysteries of the sacred ‘Huaca Dragon,’ a temple dedicated to the Rainbow, believed to have served as a ceremonial center associated with fertility rites. Adorned with intricate depictions of dancing warriors and mythical creatures, the temple provides insight into the rich cultural tapestry of the region. CHACHAPOYAS
Today, our journey begins with a visit to the intriguing ‘Pueblo de los Muertos’. Following this, we’ll embark on a scenic 30-minute drive from Chachapoyas to the charming village of Caclic. From there, we’ll venture onto a side road, descending 300 meters over the course of about 1½ hours, until we reach the breathtaking cliff top at Cruz Pata. Here, perched on the edge of the cliff, awaits the enigmatic sarcophagi of Karajia. These ancient burial chambers, adorned with intricate geometric figures, are believed to hold the remains of esteemed chieftains and perhaps their families. The mystery surrounding how the ancient Chachapoyas constructed these remote burial sites continues to captivate historians and travelers alike. After immersing ourselves in the wonder of these archaeological treasures, we’ll return to Chachapoyas for a peaceful night’s rest. Includes: Breakfast, Lunch..

KUELAP
Join us for a day of exploration at the awe-inspiring Fortress of Kuelap. With over 400 buildings nestled within three tiers of walls, Kuelap stands as the largest stone structure in South America. Its towering walls, reaching a height of 19 meters, boast narrow and tapering entrances, indicative of its defensive design. However, recent archaeological findings suggest that Kuelap served primarily as a religious and ceremonial center. Adorned with orchids and bromeliads, the fortress exudes natural beauty amidst its historical grandeur. Along the way, we’ll also marvel at the platforms of Macro, perched on a cliff overlooking the Utcubamba River. After our explorations, we’ll return to Chachapoyas for the night.
